The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of the local market, as well as experience in regional trade with neighboring countries. A technical background in lubricants or mechanical applications is a significant advantage.

Duties And Responsibilities
Develop and expand the company's lubricants and motor oil sales within the country and neighboring regions.β
Identify and establish new business opportunities in key sectors, including automotive workshops, fleet operators, industrial companies, and distributors.β
Achieve and surpass sales targets, focusing on volume, profitability, and customer retention.β
Negotiate and finalize deals with B2B clients, ensuring competitive pricing and favorable contract terms.β
Conduct market research to identify trends, monitor competitor activities, and uncover potential growth opportunities.β
Maintain robust relationships with existing customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.β
Provide product recommendations and solutions tailored to customer needs and applications.β
Collaborate closely with technical teams to support clients with lubrication solutions and best practices.β
Follow up on payments, ensuring timely collection and adherence to credit policies.β
Develop a comprehensive understanding of lubricants, motor oil applications, and industry standards.β
Educate customers on product benefits, proper usage, and maintenance practices.β
Stay updated on advancements in lubricant technology and regulatory requirements.β
Prepare and submit regular sales reports, including pipeline status, revenue forecasts, and market analysis.β
Collaborate with the marketing team to plan promotional activities, campaigns, and product launches.β
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.β
Education Other Skills Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.β
Minimum 3–5 years of B2B sales experience in the lubricants, automotive, or industrial sectors. Experience in local and neighbouring markets is essential.β
Strong understanding of lubricants, motor oils, and their applications. Prior experience working with international brands is advantageous.β
Fluency in English and Swahili is required. Proficiency in additional regional languages (such as French or Portuguese) is a plus.β
Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management abilities.β
Willingness to travel frequently within the country and to neighboring regions. A valid driver’s license is required.β
