Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate and results-driven Safari Sales Specialist to design and sell customized safari packages. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, an in-depth understanding of safari destinations, and excellent customer service skills. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to convert inquiries into bookings while delivering exceptional client experiences.

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Design and sell bespoke safari packages, ensuring they align with client expectations and preferences.
  • Handle inquiries, provide expert advice on destinations, accommodations, and activities, and close sales effectively.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, and direct clients.
  • Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies to increase sales and revenue.
  • Provide personalized support to clients from the initial inquiry to post-trip follow-up.
  • Ensure seamless coordination between clients and operations teams for smooth travel arrangements.
  • Offer expert guidance on travel logistics, including visas, health requirements, and packing recommendations.
  • Stay updated on safari trends, wildlife seasons, and new lodge offerings to enhance sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to create compelling sales content, promotions, and digital campaigns.
  • Continuously refine safari packages to meet evolving client demands and industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, bookings, and payments.
  • Prepare sales reports, track performance, and provide insights on customer preferences and market trends.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Education Other Skills Required
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Sales, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years in safari sales, travel consultancy, or luxury tourism.
  • Strong knowledge of safari destinations, wildlife experiences, and travel logistics.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, booking platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience working with high-end clients and international travel markets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional languages such as French, German, or Spanish are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for site visits and industry networking events.
