The Warehouse and Distribution Manager will oversee and manage all warehouse and distribution operations. This includes managing the receiving, warehousing, and distribution functions to ensure efficient and accurate processing of goods, maintain inventory accuracy, and meet customer delivery requirements. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in logistics and supply chain management, with strong leadership and organizational skills.

Warehouse Management:

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping products.
• Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal.
• Implement and manage inventory control systems to maintain product accuracy.
• Develop and enforce operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling, and disposition of materials.

Distribution Operations:

• Plan and manage the distribution process to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers.
• Coordinate with the transportation department to optimize shipping and distribution operations.
• Monitor and analyze the performance of the distribution network and implement improvements as necessary.

Leadership and Team Management:

• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of warehouse staff to achieve operational excellence.
• Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify training needs for warehouse staff.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.

Inventory Control:

• Oversee inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts and audits.
• Manage stock control and reconcile with the data storage system.
• Implement strategies to minimize stock loss and improve inventory turnover.

Process Improvement:

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
• Utilize data and analytics to drive decision-making and optimize warehouse and distribution operations.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and improve customer satisfaction.

Reporting and Documentation:

• Prepare and present regular reports on warehouse and distribution performance.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all warehouse activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse and distribution management, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
