Job Summary
As a Restaurant Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring a high standard of customer service, managing staff, and optimizing business performance. Duties And Responsibilities
Operational Management:
Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely food and drink delivery.
Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.
Staff Management:
Recruit, train, and manage restaurant staff, including scheduling shifts and assigning duties.
Monitor staff performance and conduct regular evaluations.
Foster a positive work environment and encourage teamwork.
Customer Service:
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service.
Develop and implement customer service standards.
Engage with customers to gather feedback and improve service quality.
Financial Management:
Manage restaurant budgets, including forecasting, planning, and monitoring expenditures.
Analyze financial reports and adjust operations to meet financial targets.
Control inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
Marketing and Sales:
Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain customers.
Plan and execute promotional events and activities.
Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance the restaurant's brand and visibility.
Menu Development:
Work closely with the kitchen team to design and update the menu.
Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure it meets the restaurant's standards.
Evaluate customer preferences and trends to adjust menu offerings.
Compliance and Reporting:
Ensure compliance with licensing, hygiene, and health and safety regulations.
Maintain accurate records of daily, weekly, and monthly transactions.
Report on management regarding sales results and productivity.
Education Other Skills Required
A Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team.
Experience in financial management and budgeting.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
