Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Officer on behalf of our client to take charge of our company’s financial health by overseeing and managing accounting operations in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial management, accounting practices, and tax compliance, along with strong organizational skills and the ability to handle time-sensitive tasks.
The Finance Officer will be responsible for managing daily financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and preparing financial reports. This role requires familiarity with financial software, excellent analytical skills, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
Duties And Responsibilities
Keep accurate records for all daily transactions.
Maintain books of accounts, including purchase documents, receipts, and payment vouchers.
Record and post payment vouchers, petty cash, and journal entries into the accounting system.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Reconcile bank statements and prepare month-end reports.
Maintain a fixed asset register and prepare month-end bank reconciliations.
Ensure invoices are issued accurately and delivered to customers on time.
