Duties And Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to increase revenue and market share.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive activities.
  • Develop and implement effective business development strategies to achieve company goals.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients and partners.
  • Negotiate contracts, agreements, and partnerships to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of projects and client satisfaction.
  • Monitor and analyze business performance, providing actionable insights for improvement.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
  • Prepare detailed reports and updates for management on business development activities.

Education Other Skills Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of the Tanzanian market and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in Swahili and English is essential.
  • Experience in sectors such as telecommunications, renewable energy, FMCG, or financial services.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing tools and strategies.
  • Familiarity with proposal writing and tendering processes.
